Born in Oxford, the daughter of an Oxford don, it's hardly surprising that I was raised on 'Alice In Wonderland' . We never owned a copy of the Disney version because it didn't stay true to the books, mixing in characters from 'Through the Looking Glass' which was a cardinal sin in our purist household. I may be disinherited for what I am about to do to Alice this Christmas!

Alice is soon to enter a land she has never been to before, falling down the rabbit hole and right into a pantomime. As I write, the script writers are bringing a new set of characters into being, all new and yet strangely familiar. I can't wait to meet them!
